Heute geht es los, von Mannheim über Österreich, Ungarn, Rumänien und Bulgarien nach Patras in Griechenland. Knappe 2.700 km, mit Sabine als Beifahrerin und unser beider Gepäck als Belastungsprobe.
Unser erster Halt ist in Augsburg, Abschied von Carla und zwei lieben Freundinnen, die mir über die Jahre mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen. Eine beherbergt Carla seit Sommer und auch für die nächsten beiden Monate, die andere gibt uns ein Nachtquartier.

We’re setting off today—traveling from Mannheim through Austria, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria to Patras, Greece. It’s a journey of just under 2,700 km, with Sabine riding shotgun and our combined luggage serving as a real test of the load.
Our first stop is Augsburg to say goodbye to Carla and two dear friends who have supported me with help and advice over the years. One of them has been hosting Carla since the summer and will continue to do so for the next two months, while the other is putting us up for the night. Thank you for your support, Steffi und Cornelia!
