Das innere Feuer nähren
15. September 2026

EnglishNurturing the inner fire
"Courage is, in its essence, warmth," a friend—now deceased—wrote to me decades ago. It is akin to the 'I,' to enthusiasm, and to love. All are manifestations of warmth that depend on one another and strengthen us in our threefold nature as human beings:
Enthusiasm as an expression of the fire of the spirit,
Love as the heart’s power of the center and of togetherness,
Courage as the strength to translate this into action born of the 'I.'
All of this exists within us and for us. Yet, like any fire, they require daily nourishment—each in its own way: through devotion and commitment to oneself and to the world.
