Über das Werkstatt-Treffen 8./9. Juli 2026

11. Juli 2026

About the workshop on July 8–9, 2026

Present were Luise, Philippe, Marianne, Annemarie, and I.
At first there were just two, then three, then five of us - engaged in a conversation around the table and later by the fire, sharing stories of experiences, successes, and failures, and reflecting on life as a space for transformation and practice.

In the beginning, there was nothing but joy in the human capacity for creation - whether on a grand scale or in the smallest details: "Joy, joy is the mainspring of the great clock of the world" (Schiller/Beethoven)

Women who met for twenty years (!) to learn with and from one another, and to nurture each other as they navigated the trials of strength and power struggles posed by opposing forces.

A church that the congregation and their pastor spoke of for twenty years before it could finally be entered - different than imagined, yet *there*.

Travelers on a journey to discover themselves and one another - free in spirit, supporting each other like siblings, conversing heart-to-heart.

Roles meant to be played for a time with full seriousness and commitment -until life suddenly removed our masks and called a halt, and from that moment on, everything changed.

Realities of life calling for change - for a transformation that places little value on the way things have been until now.

Visions born of a deep longing - or perhaps of "knowing" itself - ideas and possibilities that refuse to dissolve facing the impossibilities of the present; ideas thatserve the common good and deserve to be practiced, understood, and realized.

Tools for social engagement, a path of decision-making where love for the cause matters more than personal desire - a path where the will to transform is also at work.

Fear was present, too - that fear which dreads itself most of all, which fixates only on difficulties while constantly overlooking the fact that life is always on our side. Why, then, should we listen to it?

Finally, things became more concrete - and not just during the visit to the “Atelier treppauf treppab” or the walk through the labyrinth in Heimbach, nor during the meals shared before, after, and in between. The moment truly became significant with Luise’s question:

(How) do we want to move forward together?
A call from the future?
A path leading into a new way of being together?

We parted feeling fulfilled, moved, and nourished, carrying these questions in our hearts, undergoing a transformation more profound than ever.
